Webalizer
Description of data processing
On our website we use the tool “Webalizer” for the purpose of analyzing user behavior. The analysis of user behavior is important because it allows the demand for content to be analyzed and the online offering to be optimized. The collected user data is not used to create user profiles.
The “Webalizer” tool only collects statistical data, such as the most frequently visited website content, the most frequently used browsers, the countries from which the most queries originate. In the variant we use, the “Webalizer” tool works by anonymizing IP addresses. The IP addresses are shortened by the last three digits before any use for the analysis of usage behavior, so that a personal reference can no longer be established and you as a user remain anonymous to us.The anonymized data records are stored on our web server and are evaluated in-house exclusively for statistical purposes. This data will not be passed on to third parties at any time. The “Webalizer” tool does not use cookies.
Legal basis for data processing
The legal basis for data processing using “Webalizer” in the form described is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO.
Purpose of data processing
Through the tool “Webalizer” we learn how the website is used and can thus continuously optimize our online offering. This is also our legitimate interest in the processing of personal data pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO.
Duration of storage
The stored statistical information will be deleted by us after three years at the latest.
Possibility of objection and elimination
The user can object to the storage of this information by notifying the contact information at the end of our data protection declaration.
