A new renewable energy solution model, aimed at enabling affordable access to hundreds of rural communities has been launched in southwestern Uganda. The 7th solar village located in Ruhita, Kafunjo parish, Ruhara sub-county in Kabale district, will immediately see the connection of 100 rural households to energy. Through the association of SENDEA Uganda, the interventions are striving to strengthen access and affordability of locals left out of the traditional grid of hydroelectricity connections.
